While we were in Utah this summer I took my dad's old cameras down and handed them over to my kids. They were so confused! They kept looking for the picture on the back of the camera.

The {B} wedding
I had a request a while back to post a few more wedding photos...so here they are. Keep in mind that I did these in the VERY early stages of my photography business (they didn't even know that I was starting a business when they contacted me...5 days before the wedding)....I now have more sophisticated equipment and a wealth of knowledge and experience.
The {F} family // Kingsport extended family photographer
This is a photo shoot that I can't believe I forgot to blog about! We did these at the end of December and I really think they turned out beautifully. What a fun family they are! One brother was in town from Oklahoma for Christmas. My neighbor bought her mother in law the gift certificate as a Christmas gift. So thoughtful!

Silhouette session // Kingsport children photographer
I spent a whole school year at ballet with these girls and their mother. When she saw the silhouette sessions on my page, she immediately scheduled one (which I was very glad for. Her kids have some serious personality). I told her where to meet me and what time and waited patiently for Tuesday to come. As a precaution, I sent her a facebook message just an hour or so before we were supposed to meet, telling her to call me if she got lost. And then I left my phone at home. And then I waited for her....and waited...and waited....but I had taken my 6-year-old with me because she wanted to come and see her friend. I LOVED having that extra time to bond with her and snap a few photos of her. About half an hour after our scheduled time, my friend came rushing into the parking area...obviously frazzled. Her girls had been in the bathtub getting ready for bed when she got my message! She yanked them from the tub, threw pajamas on them and got over to where I was waiting just as quickly as she could. I was THRILLED! There is nothing that represents childhood more than nightgowns and wet bath hair and teddy bears.
